A Polsia Alternative: How VentiMap Compares
By Yuntao Zou, Founder, VentiMap@TaoMachina
If you're looking at Polsia, VentiMap is the closest alternative I know of, because I built it for the same job: AI that builds a software business and keeps working on it after launch. The two differ on price shape. Polsia is a monthly subscription with a 3% fee on sales. VentiMap sells 30-day passes that never renew on their own, with no fee on sales.
A disclosure first. I'm the founder of VentiMap, so weigh what follows accordingly. Every Polsia figure below comes from Polsia's own public pages, and I've dated each one. If a number has changed by the time you read this, Polsia's page is right and mine is out of date.
Polsia and VentiMap side by side
| Polsia | VentiMap | |
|---|---|---|
| Start for free | Yes, no card | Yes, no card: a report on your idea, a plan and a first page |
| Entry price | $20 a month (Standard) | $20 for 30 days (Starter pass) |
| Higher tiers | Pro $50 a month; Max $100 or $200 a month | Pro $50; Max $100, each for 30 days |
| Renewal | Renews automatically until you cancel | Never renews on its own; you buy the next pass |
| Active companies per plan | 1 on Standard, up to 3 on Pro, up to 10 on Max | Up to 5 on Starter, 10 on Pro, 20 on Max |
| Fee on your sales | 3% of each customer payment | 0% of each sale (card fee still applies) |
| Advertising | Meta ads on Pro and Max. Card-billed ads pay a 20% platform fee out of the ads balance; ads funded from credits have the fee bundled into the credits spent | Reddit ads on any paid pass, paid from your Credits; 20% of the ad charge is our fee |
Credits are not the same unit on the two platforms, so I've left them out of the table. Polsia says one credit pays for one autonomous agent run. VentiMap Credits are counted in US dollars: one Credit is $1 of work at list rates, and you are charged for the work done. A Starter pass includes $20 of Credits, Pro $60 and Max $120.
Where Polsia is the better pick
Polsia reaches more channels today. Its help center covers Meta ads, posting to X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Pinterest, and cold email. VentiMap runs Reddit ads and outreach email. If your buyers live on Instagram or TikTok, Polsia covers that and we don't yet.
And Polsia has been running longer, with many more companies on it. A younger product has rougher edges, and you should expect that from us.
Where VentiMap is different
You see a report before anything is built
On the free plan, VentiMap researches your idea, or picks one for you, and writes a report with sources, a product, a price and a plan. You can decide whether the business is worth building before you pay for anything.
Nothing renews behind your back
A VentiMap pass lasts 30 days and then stops. If you want another month, you buy another pass. Credits you haven't used stay for 30 more days, so renewing within that window keeps what you paid for. I chose this because I didn't want anyone finding a charge they forgot about.
You watch every step, and money moves only when you say
The plan is a Work Map you can read and change. The Control Panel shows what each agent is doing, and the Manager tells you what happened in plain words. Ads only start once you approve a daily amount, and you can stop them at any time.
What a month with $500 of sales costs
| Plan | Fee on $500 of sales | Total | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polsia | $20 (Standard) | $15 (3%) | $35 |
| VentiMap | $20 (Starter pass) | $0 (0%) | $20 |
With no sales, both cost $20 for the month. As sales grow, Polsia's 3% adds to its price, and VentiMap's stays at the pass price. The honest trade runs the other way here: VentiMap takes no share of your sales, and in return it reaches fewer channels and has a shorter track record.
How to choose
- Do you already know your idea is worth building? If not, a free report first is worth having.
- Will you sell a lot? Polsia takes 3% of each customer payment; VentiMap takes none, though the Stripe card fee applies on both.
- Where are your buyers? Instagram and TikTok point to Polsia. Reddit and email work on both.
- Do you want a subscription that keeps running, or a pass you renew on purpose?
A few practical questions
Is VentiMap free?
Starting is free and needs no card: you get a report on your idea, a plan and a first page. Building the full product needs a pass, from $20 for 30 days.
Does VentiMap take a share of my revenue?
No. VentiMap takes 0% of each sale your company makes. The rest is yours, less Stripe's card fee and any refunds or disputes. Ads are separate: 20% of the ad charge is our fee.
Do I have to cancel a VentiMap plan?
No. A pass ends after 30 days on its own. No pass is charged again unless you buy another one.
If you try both, judge them on the same idea. Give each one the business you actually want to run, and see which one you'd trust with it.
