Build a Website From a Reference With AI

By Yuntao Zou, Founder, VentiMap@TaoMachina

VentiMap Remix builds your own business from a website you like. Paste the reference into Website you like and press Remix it. Your AI team uses it as a starting point for the business and its look, then prepares your report and plan, with your own name and brand.

A reference makes the starting point concrete: you can show the kind of product and page you have in mind. The idea-to-business guide covers the whole path; this guide follows the reference-site entry and the decisions to make before building.

Pick a reference for the job you want to solve

Choose a site whose product you understand. Notice who it serves, what visitors do, what they receive and how the offer is presented. A proposal tool for designers and a shared waitlist for a café need different products, even if you like the same clean page layout.

Paste the website into Remix

Open Remix. The page says Like this, but yours. Paste the public website address into Website you like, then press Remix it.

If you are signed out, the Sign in to start card opens on the same page. Sign in there to keep going. If you are already signed in, the project starts from Remix straight away. VentiMap opens the project discussion with the reference attached, so you keep that starting point as the business takes shape.

Make the report describe your version

Read the proposed product, target customer, price and plan. This is where you turn a reference into a specific business. Say which parts of the idea you want to keep and what should change for your buyer. For example, you could send this proposed message in the report conversation:

Make my version for independent cafés that need a shared waitlist. Keep the simple, welcoming feel of the reference, but use my own name, colors and wording. The owner adds a party, staff see the same queue, and the guest sees their place. Explain the product and price in the report before building.

Be specific about the work behind the page. If several staff members need to see the same queue, say so. If visitors need their own saved items, name them. VentiMap products can have a backend and visitor sign-in by emailed code; describing the job helps the plan include the right behavior.

Settle how your own product sells as well as how it looks. For a recurring product, the subscription-app guide explains how to put one monthly offer in the report and what buyers see at checkout.

Move from the report to your own product

When the report describes the business you want, choose Agree and open Control Panel. Your free start includes the report, plan and first page. Pick a plan to build opens the paid-plan choice for the full product; building continues automatically after you choose a paid plan. The Work Map shows the steps and the Manager reports changes in your chat.

The pricing page separates the VentiMap plan and Credits used for the work from the money your product earns. A paid plan also lets you use your own domain and send the published code to a GitHub repository you own.

Refine the result in Build Studio

Once your product has a page, review it as the person who will use it. Is the offer clear? Can they find the main action? Does the page explain what happens next? In Build Studio, point at an element or circle an area and say what you want changed.

For a later draft change to a live page, review the result and press Publish when it is ready. The button shows Publishing… and then Published; Open the live page takes you to the result. This gives you a way to shape the page after the initial build.

What should you borrow from a reference?

Bring the useful idea: a clear buyer, an understandable workflow and a visual direction you like. Make the final promise specific to your customers. These small web tools made with AI show how different a result becomes when the input and output serve one particular job.

Start with a website you like. Open VentiMap Remix, paste its address and give your own business a concrete starting point. Starting is free, with no card needed.
