Shipper Explained: What It Is, How It Works
By Yuntao Zou, Founder, VentiMap@TaoMachina
Shipper AI, at shipper.now, is an AI app builder that turns a description into a web application, including its interface, backend and database. You can keep changing the app through conversation, publish it online and export its code.
VentiMap takes your idea through research, a product and website, payments and ongoing business work, with a Manager and a visible Work Map. Start free on VentiMap to get your first report and see the plan for your business.
Shipper also has an Advisor that helps with decisions about the product you are building. The useful questions are what you can create, how the building process works and what the monthly price actually buys.
What can you build with Shipper?
Shipper's official examples include task tools, booking systems, internal dashboards, marketplaces and software sold through subscriptions. These are applications with actions and data behind the page. Its product FAQ also says Shipper hosts published apps and that creators own their projects and can export the code.
Shipper Cloud supplies the data layer: it keeps information such as form entries, account profiles and content generated inside an app.
The Advisor works alongside the builder, suggesting changes to features, design and product direction.
The public Shipper app also has a template library. Its Remix action starts a new project from a template.
Shipper's main website advertises additional starting points for websites, online stores and mobile applications, including turning a website into a mobile-app project.
How does the Shipper workflow work?
Shipper's prompting guide describes a repeating process: explain the outcome, let the builder make a useful part, try the flow and request a focused change. It asks for the intended user, their main action and the route from arriving to getting a result.
For example, describe a designer who pastes client notes and receives an editable proposal they can save. That gives the app a concrete input, output and reason to return. You can then refine the page and behavior around that job.
When the app is ready, Shipper's published instructions use the Publish button to put it online with Shipper hosting. Code export is a separate way to keep the project outside the builder. Its hosting and ownership FAQ explains these options.
How much does Shipper cost?
The public Shipper app displayed these monthly selections on November 3, 2026. Paid prices are quoted per user.
| Plan | Monthly price shown | Credits shown |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Limited daily credits |
| Pro | $25 per user | 100 per month |
| Max | $200 per user | 500 per month |
The plan cards in the Shipper app list Advisor access and connectors on Pro, with priority support, AI Employees and model selection on Max. Credit selectors sit alongside the paid plans, so read the selected allowance together with its price.
There are two usage questions behind the subscription price. Building and editing spend credits; the official build-credit guide says a small change uses less than a complex task, and extra credits can be purchased.
Running an app that saves or retrieves information uses Shipper Cloud credits as well. A monthly building allowance and ongoing app usage therefore belong in the same budget.
Shipper's terms say paid plans renew automatically. Billing-dashboard cancellation leaves the subscription active through the current cycle and stops the next renewal.
