Locus Founder Alternative: VentiMap Compared
By Yuntao Zou, Founder, VentiMap@TaoMachina
VentiMap is a Locus Founder alternative that takes 0% of each sale, so no platform charges less, and sells a pass from $20 for 30 days that never renews on its own. It also manages your whole company from the idea onward without being a black box: every step the agents plan and take sits on the Work Map, and a proactive Manager tells you what changed.
I'm VentiMap's founder; every figure about other products comes from their own pages, dated October 18, 2026.

VentiMap takes 0% of each sale, so no platform charges less
As of October 18, 2026, VentiMap takes 0% of each sale on orders placed since October 15, 2026. Buyers pay through Stripe, Stripe's card fee applies, and VentiMap takes nothing from your sales. Locus Founder's fees page lists a 1% application fee on each charge on top of Stripe's rates, and its home page adds 5% of revenue above $1,000 in a calendar month.
| A month with | VentiMap | Locus Founder |
|---|---|---|
| No sales | $20 | $25 |
| $500 of sales | $20 ($0 on sales) | $30 ($25 plan + $5 fee) |
| $3,000 of sales | $20 ($0 on sales) | $155 ($25 plan + $30 fee + $100 revenue share) |
With VentiMap the month costs the pass price however much you sell. A Starter pass is $20 for 30 days and includes $20 of Credits; Pro is $50 and Max is $100. Every price is on the pricing page.
A VentiMap pass never renews on its own
As of October 18, 2026, a VentiMap pass lasts 30 days and then stops, and no pass is charged again unless you buy another one. Credits you haven't used stay for 30 more days, so renewing within that window keeps what you paid for. Locus Founder's fees page lists a subscription of $25 a month or $250 a year; its FAQ, last updated June 23, 2026, lists $50 a month or $500 a year.
VentiMap is not a black box: every step is on the Work Map
You see what is being built, in what order and why, before and while it happens. The Work Map lays out every step the agents plan and take, how the steps depend on each other and where each one is.
- The Work Map shows each step with its status, what it waits for and what follows from it, and you can open any step to edit it, look inside it or run it again.
- The Manager is a chat that follows the project. It posts a line for each change, such as a finished build, a new image or an X post, so you never find out later.
- The Brain page shows everything your runs use, with where each memory came from, and you can switch any entry off.
- History lists every change to your product, newest first, and Revert to here takes you back to any earlier point.

VentiMap does the marketing for you, in your company's name
VentiMap finds customers who match your business, contacts them for you in your company's name, and follows up automatically. Each address is checked before anything is sent, outreach starts when your company launches and sends within a daily limit, every email carries an opt-out, and replies land in the company inbox. Your Manager answers customers' emails for you, from your company's own details, and tells you in the chat. Questions about discounts, refunds or anything it shouldn't decide wait for you.
Reddit ads start only once you approve a daily amount. Posts go out on your company's own connected X account, on a schedule you choose, at X's own list price: $0.015 a post, or $0.20 with a link. For Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, VentiMap writes the post on a paid pass, takes the image from your Media library and opens your own account ready for you to publish. For Google Ads through your own account, you paste your Google tag ID and VentiMap installs it on every page of your company site, reports each completed purchase to Google and writes paste-ready ad copy from your company report.
Images in the Media library are prompted from your company's own design board, its palette and style, so they match your site, and they cost about $0.02 each with no markup. On a paid pass, every day the company is reviewed and the next steps are planned in a daily task list, and you can skip any step. A product can also include an AI feature that answers its visitors.
The companies page lists real operating companies built on VentiMap, with links to their sites.
You own your domain, and your code goes to your GitHub
As of October 18, 2026, on a VentiMap pass you can connect a domain you own, and your product's code is pushed to your own GitHub repository after every publish, with no Credits charged. Locus Founder's FAQ says your domain is registered to your account and can move to any registrar; its export page lists the domain, your customer and lead list and a link to your Stripe account.
How to choose
- Will you sell a lot? VentiMap takes none of it; the Stripe card fee applies on both.
- Do you want to see the plan before the agents act? The Work Map shows every step.
- Do you want customers found and contacted for you, plus Reddit ads, X posts and sharing to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn? They are built in.
- Do you want your code in your own GitHub repository after every publish? VentiMap pushes it for you.
- Do you want a pass you renew on purpose? A VentiMap pass ends after 30 days on its own.
