Base44 Alternative: VentiMap Compared

By Yuntao Zou, Founder, VentiMap@TaoMachina

VentiMap is a Base44 alternative that takes 0% of each sale, so no platform charges less, and sells one-time passes from $20 for 30 days where Base44 bills monthly or yearly. It also finds customers who match your business, contacts them for you in your company's name, and follows up automatically, and every step the agents plan and take sits on the Work Map, so it is not a black box.

I'm VentiMap's founder; every figure about other products comes from their own pages, dated October 17, 2026.

Comparing more than two products? The prices and fees of 23 AI business builders, each from the vendor's own page, sit in one dated table.

VentiMap takes 0% of each sale, so no platform charges less

As of October 19, 2026, VentiMap takes 0% of each sale on orders placed since October 15, 2026. Buyers pay through Stripe, Stripe's card fee applies, and VentiMap takes nothing from your sales. Base44's payments route, Base44 Payments powered by Wix, charges a per-transaction service fee and needs the Builder plan or higher; the pages read on October 17, 2026 give no percentage. Its own-Stripe route in the documentation mentions no Base44 fee.

Every VentiMap price is on the pricing page, and you can start without a card.

A VentiMap pass is one-time, with no subscription

As of October 19, 2026, a VentiMap pass lasts 30 days and then stops: Starter $20, Pro $50 or Max $100. No pass is charged again unless you buy another one, and Credits you haven't used stay for 30 more days, so buying the next pass within that window keeps what you paid for. Base44's pricing page, read October 17, 2026, bills Starter at $16 a month billed yearly or $20 monthly, Builder at $40 or $50, Pro at $80 or $100 and Elite at $160 or $200, and plan credits expire at each reset.

VentiMap is not a black box: every step is on the Work Map

You see what is being built, in what order and why, before and while it happens. The Work Map lays out every step the agents plan and take, how the steps depend on each other and where each one is.

  • The Work Map shows each step with its status, what it waits for and what follows from it, and you can open any step to edit it, look inside it or run it again.
  • The Manager is a chat that follows the project. It posts a line for each change, such as a finished build, a new image or an X post, so you never find out later.
  • The Brain page shows everything your runs use, with where each memory came from, and you can switch any entry off.
  • History lists every change to your product, newest first, and Revert to here takes you back to any earlier point.

VentiMap finds your customers and writes to them in your company's name

VentiMap finds customers who match your business, contacts them for you in your company's name, and follows up automatically. Each address is checked before anything is sent, outreach starts when your company launches and sends within a daily limit, every email carries an opt-out, and replies land in the company inbox. Your Manager answers customers' emails for you, from your company's own details, and tells you in the chat. Questions about discounts, refunds or anything it shouldn't decide wait for you.

Reddit ads start only once you approve a daily amount. Posts go out on your company's own connected X account, on a schedule you choose, at X's own list price: $0.015 a post, or $0.20 with a link. For Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, VentiMap writes the post on a paid pass, takes the image from your Media library and opens your own account ready for you to publish. For Google Ads through your own account, you paste your Google tag ID and VentiMap installs it on every page of your company site, reports each completed purchase to Google and writes paste-ready ad copy from your company report.

Images in the Media library are prompted from your company's own design board, its palette and style, so they match your site, and they cost about $0.02 each with no markup. On a paid pass, every day the company is reviewed and the next steps are planned in a daily task list, and you can skip any step. A product can also include an AI feature that answers its visitors.

Products VentiMap builds have a real backend and visitor sign-in

As of October 19, 2026, a product VentiMap builds can have a real backend. Data is shared, so every visitor sees the same thing, such as bookings, spots left, queues or members, and the backend also supports scheduled jobs, signed webhooks from services such as Stripe and your private keys kept encrypted. Visitors can sign in with an emailed 6-digit code, with no passwords, which enables bookings, members-only areas and "my orders". Backend code runs isolated from the platform, and usage is paid from your Credits at a measured cost, with no extra subscription. Base44 lists a built-in backend, storage, auth and hosting on its home page, read October 17, 2026.

You own your domain, and your code goes to your GitHub

As of October 19, 2026, on a VentiMap pass you can connect a domain you own, and your product's code is pushed to your own GitHub repository after every publish, with no Credits charged. Base44's pricing FAQ says you own everything you build, and its documentation lists GitHub sync on the Builder plan and above.

How to choose

  • Will you sell a lot? VentiMap takes none of it; the Stripe card fee applies on both.
  • Do you want a pass you renew on purpose, instead of a monthly or yearly plan? A VentiMap pass ends after 30 days on its own.
  • Do you want customers found and contacted for you in your company's name? It is built in.
  • Do you want to see the plan before the agents act? The Work Map shows every step.
  • Do you want your code in your own GitHub repository after every publish? VentiMap pushes it for you.
